Marry Me Chicken
Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
Salt & pepper
2 tbsp olive oil
3–4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup chicken broth
¾ cup heavy cream
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
½ cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
1 tsp chili flakes (optional but 🔥)
1 tsp dried oregano
½ tsp thyme
Fresh basil or parsley for garnish
Instructions:
Season & Sear the Chicken:
Season chicken with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear chicken until golden on both sides (about 4–5 mins per side). Remove and set aside.
Make the Sauce:
In the same pan, add garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds.
Pour in chicken broth and scrape up all the browned bits.
Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan, sun-dried tomatoes, chili flakes, oregano, and thyme. Let it simmer a few minutes to thicken.
Bring It All Together:
Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over it.
Simmer for 10–15 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.
Serve:
Top with fresh basil or parsley.
Serve over pasta, mashed potatoes, rice, or with crusty bread.
🔥 Pro Tips:
Add a splash of white wine to the sauce for a little extra depth.
Want it extra creamy? Add a bit more Parmesan or a spoon of cream cheese.
You can finish it off in the oven too (350°F for 10–15 mins).
